Things buyers ask us
Is Brickplot paid by builders?
No. Our revenue comes from reader subscriptions (₹499/month Insider, ₹1,999/quarter Investor) and clearly-labelled builder microsites that cannot influence scores. The score formula is published and mechanical — no human override. We have turned down builder payment for score changes. We always will.
How are buyer reviews verified?
Every reviewer must submit a booking receipt, allotment letter, or possession document. Anonymous ratings are not accepted. We also conduct phone interviews for high-weight reviews.
What does a 4.9 or below score mean?
Hard Avoid. Projects with no valid RERA registration are capped at 4.9 regardless of other metrics. Construction-stalled projects may also fall here. Do not book.
What does "Wait" mean — should I reconsider in 6 months?
Wait means the project has merit but a specific concern (construction stage, pending approvals, low review volume) makes booking premature today. We re-score every 90 days. Set a reminder and check back.
Which cities are covered?
Currently: Bangalore (800+ projects), Gurgaon (300+), Hyderabad (250+), Pune (200+). Mumbai and Chennai entering coverage in Q3 2026.
